Guest Curator, Cross-Cultural Exchange Coordinator
Lufei Sun is an international curator and artists’ broker, born in Shanghai, now living in Shanghai and New York.
LuFei finished her BFA from Shanghai University in 2008, and worked professionally as an artist, curator, and marketer in Shanghai for many years before she earned her MFA from Champlain College in 2015. She has professional experience in marketing and public relations in China, and is deeply familiar with the Chinese markets for art and luxury goods. She is also knowledgeable about traditional Chinese and Western art, as well as digital media and other emerging artforms. She has many years of professional artistic achievement, including Chinese elaborate painting, visual design and digital filmmaking.
Lufei curated and organized such projects as The 50th Anniversary of France and China’s series of events on Impressionist Masters, Claude Monet Exhibition, 200th Anniversary of Verdi’s Birth and the 15th Anniversary of the Completion of the Shanghai Grand Theatre, Mirco-Experience Exhibition in Shanghai, West Bund 2013 A Biennial of Architecture and Contemporary Art in Shanghai, AMRTA on Water, Top Luxury Brands’ Exhibition in Ningbo, and Yan Wenliang Arts Awards in Suzhou, among others.
